Forging & Machining of non ferrous metals
Advanced technology in the environmental respect

History

“The history of GV Stamperie dates back to 1964, year in which Romano Gallus founded GRL – Gallus Romano Lumezzane – one of the first companies in Italy specialised in the hot-forging of brass and equipped with hot-forging presses. The technological know-how, which we have been devoting to for over twenty years, allowed us in 1990 to take over Gnutti Vittorio Stamperie and to replace the traditional working methods with the current industrial organization. The strong will to monitor the whole production process in the most suitable way and to be completely autonomous pushed us to create a solid network of inter-functional structures, namely the highly efficient Technical Department working with CAD-CAM systems in line with production, the Die-
Making Department and the Machining Department.
This complex logistic and technological organization has always been supported by a constant training of our employees, the increase of turnover and the extension of the factory area.
In 1994 our efforts were eventually rewarded through the achievement of an important goal, ISO 9002 certification, which was followed by ISO 9001 after only three years thus confirming the high quality of our products, the outstanding competence of our employees and our deep respect for the environment.
What comes next is recent history: from the purchase of Mikron Multifast in 2001 (multiple-station transfer machine) to the remarkable turnover increase of the last 2 years and, last but not least, the construction of the new 9000-square metre machining dpt. and the growing investment in research and in the development of new
software and high-precision technologies.
A further satisfaction for my sons, my staff and myself is the achievement, in March 2003, of the ambitious certification VISION 2000 and ISO 14001.
